All staff have been cleared to return to work after receiving negative tests and we have completed a deep clean of the venue. Doors will reopen Monday 27 July at 4pm – we can’t wait to see you then!!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our team, valued customers and the Paddington community for all your kind wishes and support over this trying week. We’re blown away by the positivity you have all shown us and are determined to come back stronger than ever. As always, we’re ready to deliver on the best local pub experience you know and love x

We have just received advice from NSW Health that a diner who visited us on 11 July from 6:30 to 10pm subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. We will be closing our doors temporarily to allow for staff to be tested plus arrange for deep cleaning.

While we understand this may cause some concern, we have been advised this is low risk and are confident of our comprehensive COVID Safe Plan. Throughout the pandemic the well-being of our guests, team and community has remained our priority.  To this effect, only staff who have been cleared will be returning to work at our venue.

At this stage, NSW Health is not requiring anyone to self-isolate, but they are asking for people to monitor their health and be tested if they experience flu-like symptoms.

The Village Inn has a comprehensive program of measures to promote the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team.
· Following NSW Health venue guidelines and restrictions.
· Relevant contact lists forwarded to NSW Health for tracing.
· Comprehensive cleaning outside of trading hours.
· Frequent cleaning throughout trading hours of high contact touch points.
· Social distancing restrictions in place.
· Access to areas in our venue restricted if necessary during peak times to maintain social distancing requirements.
· All guests must sign in with their contact details during the restriction periods.
· Compulsory staff training around COVID-19 safety measures.

We thank you for our understanding during these unprecedented times and appreciate the continued support we’ve seen from the community we love so much.
